Heidi Marie Connor
Adjunct Associate Professor of English
Passionate about teaching is the phrase used to describe Heidi Marie Connor, CTU Adjunct Associate Professor in English. Watching students grow and succeed academically she describes as one of the most satisfying feelings a teacher can have. With more than 20 years in the field of Education, Connor brings a lifelong commitment and dedication to the profession. Commenting on the changes she has witnessed over the years, "Students' dedication to learning and self-improvement has increased. I believe that all students can learn when instruction is presented in cross-curricular, multi-modal formats."
In teaching each student at the school to view learning as a lifelong process, Connor shows that opportunities for continued education can come in many forms. "I love when students can independently apply what they've learned.and continue to learn from all opportunities and avenues, whether it be personal or career-based," says Connor.


With teaching credentials that span the U.S. and abroad, Connor has lent her expertise to local, state, national and international education projects to benefit students worldwide.
Connor's professional experience includes working with the learning disabled, tenure as a special education teacher, and presently dividing her time between CTU as an adjunct associate professor in English and her ongoing work as an independent education consultant specializing in student advocacy and grants research.
Connor joined the CTU faculty in 2005.
