R. Scott Brunton

Engage, motivate, facilitate and share is the teaching philosophy of Scott Brunton, CTU Adjunct Associate Professor in Business. Helping students to recognize the value of lessons learned in business is the mission he brings to every class.
With a wealth of professional credentials that cover key positions in research and development, project management, customer support and business development, Mr. Brunton brings a valuable insider's perspective to the project management, business administration and systems engineering courses that he teaches at CTU. When asked what first attracted him to teaching, he replies, "the balanced blend of working professionals who truly value a continued education experience."


Today's student realizes the inherent value in a relevant, real-world curriculum and "usually around the third class session, the connection between the course material and reality becomes more real," comments Brunton. Advising graduates entering careers in today's job market, he suggests that new job seekers "focus on your alignment with an organization's vision and mission."
Mr. Brunton's professional experience includes membership in a number of industry associations-including Project Management Profession (PMP©)-receipt of a number of industry awards, and publication in some of the industry's leading periodicals.
Mr. Brunton joined the CTU faculty in 2005.
